About us
At BAILU we love dogs, and we believe the best moments in life are shared with them. From a daily walk around the city to a long day out in nature, our dog is always next to us. That is why we created gear that can follow every adventure.
BAILU was born with one goal: to offer waterproof, durable and reliable products that stand up to daily use, to rain, to mud, to the sea and to every challenge that life with an active dog brings.
Design with a purpose
We design leashes, collars and harnesses that combine function, comfort and durability. We use materials that clean easily, do not absorb moisture and are built to last. For us, dog gear should never be a restriction, it should give freedom.
The name Bailu came from our own dogs and from the two homes of our founder, Lucie Pasova: the Czech Republic, where she learned to work with her hands, and Greece, where salt water and dust test every stitch on a daily basis.

How we work
Handmade, in small batches
We cut, punch and assemble in our own workshop. Nothing leaves without a final check by hand.
Transparency about materials
We publish alloys, load ratings and weights for every component. You should know what you are holding.
Longevity instead of seasons
We do not chase trends. Colours get added, products stay repairable and hardware stays replaceable.
Reliability that is tested, not claimed
What we value most at BAILU is reliability. That is why we carefully select every material we use and test it in different conditions before it becomes part of our collection. Rain, mud, sea water, heavy use and ordinary walks are all part of our testing process.
Our aim is to create products that resist not only the weather, but also the test of time. We believe quality gear should stay functional, safe and beautiful for years, accompanying you and your dog on every new adventure.
Made for real life
Every BAILU product is created around the real life of dogs and their people. We do not select materials purely for their looks or their datasheet, but above all for how they perform in practice. We want our products to offer comfort, safety and confidence on every walk, whatever the weather or the terrain.
We work in small batches. That lets us check each piece by hand, adapt sizes to dogs with unusual proportions and respond quickly to what our partners and customers ask for.
